    Default competitive gaming?

okay i wanted to post a topic on this first off
i myself do like competitive gaming and i am in an established clan, BHV

now i like to play gears of war competitively and i used to race competitively aswell, the reason i play competitive is because i honestly just love being part of a team, the feeling i get when i get the winning kill in a competitive match is extroadinary and i can't get enough, how people play in competitive varies completely different for multiplayer, there is non-stop communication and teamwork that goes on in-game, every time an enemy is spotted a call out is made, everytime someone tries to push an enemy a call out is made, weapon spawns and enemy spawns are called out, tactics are literally made up on the spot and that atmosphere is like no other i have experianced on xbox.
so what is everyone's thoughts on competitive gaming here? good? bad? unsure?

I personally prefer competitive gaming, as it prevents games from getting boring and being relegated to the shelf for all eternity. Though sometimes it can be fun to run and gun (especially if you haven't got the patience at the time for competitive gaming).

I do like a bit of competitive gaming, but it all depends on which game. I am currently climbing the Company of Heroes leaderboards so I can enter the singles ladder by Christmas.

But on things like CoD and Gears, I play for pure mindless fun (although, I do like a good competitive game in Gears)
