And so the Mortal madness begins again. Months after the release of the awesome reboot in the series, the classic Mortal Kombat will be making a return next week on Xbox Live Arcade.

WB Games has announced that it will release the Mortal Kombat Kollection, which includes the game that started it all, the original MK, along with Mortal Kombat II and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Each game will support online play, along with leaderboards and plenty of Achievements. Oh, yeah, and they’ll POUND YOU INTO A PILE OF MUSH. The game arrives on August 30th in North American and on the 31st everywhere else; the DLC will go for 800 Microsoft points.
