Hey everyone I am Rex and I am working on a new tool, I will tell you why first.


Why:
For a good few months now I been using save editors that are all good but most downloads
for them are on adclick sites or other silly download sites like this making the hard to come
by, and like we all do silly me I end up deleting them as I most of the time just leave them
on my desktop. Also I seen more and more all in one programs having to update or having a
big download footprint as they including everyone's editors and without crediting them mind you
and this to me is nuts why would I want 500 mods for games I know I will never get

So reason one, to try cut down the need to go to adclick sites or silly hosting sits to get the files
all the time.

Reason two to give credit back to the dev and cut the none needed editors out.


So How does it all work, well this part is so simply anyone with OCD wont really need this tool
as they already manage there files but for use lazy programmers and gamers well file managing
can be little boring where's the controller kind of feeling.

In the near future I will release the packer that builds the slim files that really are just zip files but
I like to keep my formats custom lol.

The .slim arcive is set up like so,

Easy Link:

1_URL_home.slim (root)
- control.config
- logo.png
- 1_URL_home.ico

Editor:

ac-two.slim (root)
- control.config
- logo.png
- ac-two.exe
- readme.txt
- MaybeADLL.dll

As you can see Easy Links lets you link a real ico so the favicon from the website your linking to
could be used in this example.

The Editor should already have a icon built in to the exe so what we do here we extract that to show in the software.

the config as the details for the editor author and the plugin author and a little details, its just a simple ini file.

Then after we have the working package we simply click the [A] button in the program and add it if you want to remove it thats simple you select it from the list and right click the [A] and poof deleted.



As you can see in the image you have your nice list on the left this is where the logo.png comes in as you can see them the picture I made a Easy Link back to my site it says some basic details gives credit and when you double click them image in the on the left it will take you there.
Same as if you double click the editors image it will load the editor you requested.

I will take requests for editors to be added as I have to manully make the slim my self until I make the packer tool but please make sure you give me the editor and from a link thanks is not a adclick site, your own host, mega upload or simpler are ok.

This program as only been live since yesterday so please try it our and request ideas away but please note I can't hex edit to save my life so please don't have for save editors to be made this tool is to keep your tools in one place.
