Generous, much? U.K. Xbox Live-ers will get 400 free Microsoft points just for downloading the new Red Dead Redemption trailer, starting tomorrow! But...

Only the first 5,000 will get the free points. But they'll also get a free (and exclusive) Rockstar theme for their Xbox Dashboard.
All you have to do is:

1. Live in the U.K.
2. Have an Xbox Live Silver or Gold membership
3. Download the Multiplayer Freeroam trailer for Rockstar's upcoming Western epic, Red Dead Redemption.

The deal is starting 26th April at 12:01 a.m. GMT and lasting until 10th May, but with everyone in the country clamoring for free Microsoft points, don't expect it to last more than, oh... a few seconds. They'll email the winners their tokens for the free points and theme in 4-6 weeks, so don't be mad when it doesn't show up right away. Oh, and the points expire on 31st December 2010, and the theme tokens expire on 30th June 2010. Still... FREE!

Xbox LIVE Gold or Silver members who download the Multiplayer Freeroam trailer on Xbox LIVE Marketplace between April 26, 2010, 12:01 AM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and May 10, 2010, 11:59 PM GMT, will receive (a) (1) 400 Microsoft Points Token and (b) (1) Theme Token to download an exclusive Rockstar Theme. In order to qualify for the tokens,you must download the Multiplayer Freeroam trailer on Xbox LIVE. The Xbox tokens will be sent to the corresponding LIVE ID email account, within 4-6 weeks after the end of the promotion period. The maximum amount of Microsoft Point Tokens available are 5,000 tokens. The Microsoft Point tokens will expire 12/31/2010. The Theme tokens will expire 6/30/2010. Limit one (1) gift per person. I can't be bothered with that then, it's nice there giving away points i'm not gonna be hounding the link just to have a chance at 400 msp. The thought of that many people staring the clock at that time doing a reaction competition is pretty funny though.

It's suprising how many people stayed up that late, just for the chance of getting £4 worth of points. It's rather funny though.
