    Default Slimmer 360?

Kotaku have got their hands on what appears to be a leaked photograph of the insides of a proposed Xbox 360 Slim model.

In the image, the GPU and CPU are combined into a single chip, which is just part of a possible redesign if the picture is genuine.

Testing in China has apparently been completed on the slimmed down chipset and although Kotaku question the validity of the source, they do go on to say that an Xbox 360 revamp would be a logical move to coincide with the impending release of Natal, which certainly seems to make sense.

I'd put my money on it being a fake. The main thing that makes me automatically think it is fake, is the fan. Also the workmanship is pretty shoddy.

The image shown is probably a fake but i can see Microsoft making a new model since they are planning to keep the 360 alive for 5 years

Yeah I agree, but I couldn't really see MS doing a "slim" Xbox 360 due to the heat produced from them when they are in use. Plus they would most probably have to redesign things like the HDD to fit on a smaller console and I really can't see enough people being silly enough to buy a lot of new peripherals just for a slimmer console.

Screw making new console until they fix the RROD problem. when thats done they should work on making a better looking console.
