i,m new on here and a mate of mine has put me a couple of films with subtitles on a flashdrive. and when i plug it in my xbox 360 the film plays but without the subtitles does anyone know how to get the film to work with subtitles on xbox 360

Hi,
I don't think the Xbox 360 can use subtitles with a movie on a flash drive, unless they are hard coded into the file (which would require you re-rendering the film). The only other option is to stream it from your PC using tversity (http://tversity.com/), as this allows the use of subtitles.
