RDR fo sho'! Rainbox six series is steller as well as Gears albeit its many problems. I'd like to chuck in the Battlefield series, certainly one of the more ground breaking series'

Only game I've ever played of OP's was RDR and I loved it haha, for me the best 3rd person would have to be GTA IV though with Black Ops as best fps

Has to be Battlefield. The story and online play are both amazing.
