Created by Capcom and the sequel to the popular Lost Planet game, Lost Planet 2 brings bigger and better monsters to the table. Boasting great graphics and 4 player co-op Lost Planet 2 is set to be one of the best games of 2010.

This time around, you'll be able to go it alone, against friends or with them in fully fleshed out online adversarial and cooperative modes.

With no confirmed European release date we can only hope this game comes ASAP.

It's been said that it will be released between March 2010 - April 2011 :confused:

As on this game you play as nameless snow pirates i thought that the game would just have a lobby with missions to sign up to much like Monster Hunter. But seems there is some sort of narrative which is nice, take a look at this video and you'll see what i mean.

i just hope the co-op campaign is different from the single player so you have more play time with it.
also i hope theres a boss battle mode like on the demo but with, as jake said "lobbies" to set up before choosing with huge monster your gonna pwn from the inside.

It would be nice if there was somewhere to sit around like the guild on Monster Hunter.

Theres been an update for the release date and its May 18th Worldwide. Cant wait gonna be sweet!

Video game heroes Marcus and Dom (from Epic's Gears of War games) are set to appear in Capcom's Lost Planet 2, we learn today.


The cameo appearances were confirmed yesterday by Capcom and Microsoft, a raft of Xbox 360 games dated or re-iterated, while Monster Hunter: Frontier was confirmed for a Japanese release on Xbox 360.

Presumably, Microsoft hope that this tie-up can help further the Xbox 360's cause in Japan, while Capcom get to include two of gaming's most colourful characters in their new release.Lost Planet 2 is set for release on the 18th of May.

If Lost Planet 2 gets more sales because of this (which is likely) it seems like a good move by Capcom.

i just hope that you can also customise your armour with COG parts.
