    Default What's your PC's specs?

As much as I love my Xbox 360, you can't beat PC gaming. I am a bit of a "geek" when it comes to PC's, so what's your PC's spec?

I don't have a PC, but I have an Alienware laptop:

    Alienware m15x
CPU: 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-Q720 with Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz
    RAM: 4 GB DDR3
Storage Drive: SATA 500 GB Hard Drive
    Optical Drive: DVD/-RW
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M with 1 GB VRAM

Share your specs with me - bit geeky but I like seeing specs of peoples PC's to see what they're packing.

I'm in the process of researching for a budget PC. I've got most of my parts already, just waiting until Black Friday to check some prices!.

CPU: Intel Sandybridge i5-2500K Unlocked Core, 3.30GHz, 6MB Cache, Socket 1155. (Will OC to around 4.50GHz when I get a HSF)
    Motherboard: Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z68X-UD3P-B3
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3
    PSU: Corsair TX750w
Graphics Card: Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II w/ free Batman Arkham Asylum and Battlefield 3 coupons
    Hard Drives:1x Samsung F3 HD103SJ 1TB and 1x Corsair Force 60GB Solid State Drive
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 400R Mid-Tower Gaming Case

Monitor, keyboard and mouse I'll be liberating from my old PC

I'd be careful with Corsair and OCZ SSD's atm. There has been nothing but issues with them lately (BSOD, Lockups and Speed loss). It's to do with the controllers which they use. I switched from an OCZ Agility 3 to a Crucial C300 and my PC has been running flawlessly.

Thanks for the heads up, I had heard good reviews for Corsair SSD's but I'll be hesitant now after some research

Also, if anyone wants to build a PC at any point, I recommend http://tinyurl.com/falconguide
It shows a handy guide to building a PC from various price ranges. Research is still advised but it still is a very, very good guideline.
It's also constantly updated, so if you wish to know how the new wave of parts do come January, be sure to check the Falcon Guide out (as well as other review sites)

I pre-ordered the OCZ Agility 3 after running a v2 240gb SSD in my laptop for 6 months. It gave me issues from day one and the error codes that were thrown up pointed to everything bar the SSD! Done a bit of research and it turns out it is connected to the sandforce controller used in the OCZ and the Corsair. Crucial use the more reliable Marvell controller in the C300/M4.
